Chondroitin sulfate Dosage

 

As a dietary supplement, take 1-3 capsules daily, or as directed by physician.

When using Chondroitin Sulfate in conjunction with Glucosamine, the typical serving size is 1200 milligrams of chondroitin and 1500 milligrams of glucosamine daily in divided servings. ( product comes in foil doubled sealed bag)

This product is not easily soluble in water and is best mixed into shakes, smoothies or food.

 

CHONDROITIN SULFATE SIDE EFFECTS

If taken in high doses, Chondroitin may cause various gastrointestinal issues such as indigestion, nausea, constipation and diarrhea. Those experiencing these symptoms should immediately decrease their dose. Those with liver or heart conditions and women who are pregnant or nursing should first consult a physician before considering a course.

 

Chondroitin should not be taken with any blood thinners or anticoagulants, as it could increase the risk of bleeding.
